Client: Julien Vallée
Julien Vallée asked me to aide him in the 3D design of a commissioned installation for the clothing brand Lacoste. Using sketches provided by Julien, I translated his design into a 3D environment within Cinema 4D. Following this, I used the software 'Pepakura' to generate an unfolded pattern from my 3D data before preparing the file in Google Sketchup to be reassembled as a wooden cross-section. The entire process was then realized by Philippe Savard of Robocut Studios using CNC machinery to cut the constituent parts of my finished file.
